ICSS 2025 (28.01. – 01.02.25): 2nd place Young Investigator Award

At the 10th International Congress on Science and Skiing, Christoph Thorwartl presented a study on measuring the angle of attack in skiing, which evolved from measurements on a self-built simulation machine to real-world skiing on the slopes. The study provides new insights into ski dynamics, going beyond the traditional carving-versus-skidding classification. Christoph’s work was awarded second place in the Young Investigator Award, chosen from 33 competitors and evaluated by 6 professors from 6 universities. Congratulations to Christoph!
